CONVEY-YOUR-AD Atwell Media Services and Devlin Media formed a partnership on March 1, 2011 in order to provide another creative alternative out of home format. Convey-Your-AdTM places advertising messages onto conveyor belts at checkout isles in grocery stores in over 245 locations in Northern California. It allows the advertiser to reach consumers every day, right where they shop – in their grocery store. The entire full coverage, digitally-printed check stand conveyor imaging will catch shopper's attention and increase sales or brand awareness.
In a recent Wall Street journal study it showed grocery store customers were in the checkout line for an average of 2 to 5 minutes. Because we are printing onto the belt consumers are able to see the images, and your companies message, while they are paused and waiting for their grocery items to be scanned and bagged - creating a marketers dream with over 30 million impressions each month.
Panasonic has tested this medium; using the conveyor belt at the checkout isle, and their study shows an increase in sales of 556%. This is a very significant increase, and even more impressive when the client can match the increase in sales against a low cost to enter this form of advertising.
